Her resolute stance against the misappropriation of funds designated for educational scholarships has catapulted her into the limelight, and her unwavering determination is reshaping the landscape of accountability in Kenya.

The saga unfolded when Mercy, herself a hopeful student yearning to embark on a transformative academic journey in Finland and Canada, was robbed of this opportunity by a scandal that rocked the county. Undaunted by adversity, she boldly faced down county officials in a high-stakes meeting that assembled key figures such as Governor Jonathan Bii, Deputy Governor John Barorot, and Senator Jackson Mandago.
